sharp i.t. was founded by Yuri Mekhanik and Matt Howell after working together on University of Phoenix's Workflow and Imaging Network (WIN). WIN continues to handle all admissions and financial aid applications for the University, by scanning, storing, and leveraging a dynamic workflow. By implementing WIN, the University was able to drop the average processing time for applications from weeks, to an impressive 24 hours. Yuri and Matt started sharp i.t. with the desire to bring the success they achieved while enhancing WIN to their consulting customers.
